Piet Oudolf is one of the worldwide most popular garden architects. He has become famous particularly with the design of the Lurie Garden in Chicago Millennium Park and the New York High Line Park. He designed also a lot of parks and private gardens. He is considered as an artist in the design of perennials and grasses. His private garden in Hummelo in the Netherlands, where he lives, is a wonderful place. The design of the garden focuses on an elaborate arrangement. Perennials and grasses are placed between precise cut hedges. He lives together with his wife Anja in an old renovated farmhouse and works in a modern cube house.
